OUR MALES / STUD DOGS
Exemplary spanish water dog males resident in our Kennel UBBADAT and that are part of our breeding plan
Breeding and Selection of the Spanish Water Dog
From the UBBADAT Kennel we bet for a breeding and selection of the Spanish after Dog from the responsibility and canine ethics.
We believe in the use of the right stallion for each female, as she must maintain her qualities and improve her defects as much as possible.
CHARACTER, HEALTH AND BEAUTY
The males that we use as stallions are always tested for the main genetic diseases such as PRA, congenital hypothyroidism (CHG) or hip dysplasia and elbows.
The character of a good male is measured in his ability to work and solve problems. He must be stable and confident.
If everything described above is fulfilled, the male – in addition – should be beautiful. According to the standard of the Spanish Water Dog breed. Complying with its proportions and main characteristics.

The stallions in breeding
Using a stallion or another in dog breeding depends on many factors: closeness to our breeding, economy, genetics and morphology.
In UBBADAT Kennel we bet on the selective breeding of the Spanish water dog and for that we do not hesitate to travel many kilometers to cover our females with the best possible stallion for them.
Having your own stallions makes things a lot easier but it is not advisable to use them indiscriminately, because that would not be selecting but rather raising to raise.
All the mounts made by our internal stallions with our own females have reasons to be done and objective results are sought in them.
