puppy export
We export puppies internationally with full legal documentation.
Ethical and responsible breeding
We breed with respect for the dogs, the breed and the families.
Aircraft cabin
For most international destinations, puppies travel in the aircraft cabin as hand luggage,
in accordance with airline regulations (maximum weight 8 kg including carrier).
This method is far less stressful for a Spanish Water Dog puppy and guarantees a safe and humane journey.
*United States (USA)
U.S. regulations require puppies to be at least 6 months old. In these cases, dogs travel in the aircraft hold, always accompanied by the owner. The family must still travel to Spain to collect the dog in person.
*United Kingdom (UK)
UK regulations do not allow dogs to travel in aircraft cabins.
UK families usually collect their puppy by car, either from our facilities or from Madrid,
and return by road via France and the Channel Tunnel.
We believe that meeting the family in person and ensuring a calm journey is the best possible start for a Spanish Water Dog puppy.
Thank you for understanding!
Puppy collection in Spain – always in person
At UBBADAT, all Spanish Water Dog puppies are delivered in person in Spain.
We do not ship puppies unaccompanied, as their welfare is always our top priority.
Puppies are normally collected either:
– At Madrid–Barajas Airport, or
– Directly at our facilities in Spain, if the family wishes to visit us.
This allows puppies to travel calmly and safely, accompanied by their new family.
FAQ
Do you ship puppies internationally?
We do not ship puppies unaccompanied.
All Spanish Water Dog puppies are collected in person in Spain, either at Madrid–Barajas Airport or directly at our facilities.
This ensures the puppy travels safely, calmly and accompanied by its new family, which is essential for this sensitive breed.
How do puppies travel by plane?
For most international destinations, puppies travel in the aircraft cabin as hand luggage, accompanied by their owner, in accordance with airline regulations (maximum 8 kg including carrier).
This is the least stressful and safest way for a Spanish Water Dog puppy to travel.
What about the United States (USA)?
U.S. regulations require puppies to be at least 6 months old.
In these cases, the dog travels in the aircraft hold, always accompanied by the owner.
The family must still travel to Spain to collect the dog in person.
Additional costs apply due to extended care and preparation, which are explained clearly before reservation.
What about the United Kingdom (UK)?
UK regulations do not allow dogs to travel in aircraft cabins.
UK families usually collect their puppy by car, either directly from our facilities in Spain or from Madrid, and return to the UK by road via France and the Channel Tunnel.
We assist families throughout this process.
Why is in-person collection mandatory?
We prioritise the welfare and emotional stability of our puppies.
Unaccompanied cargo transport is highly stressful for a Spanish Water Dog puppy and does not align with our ethical standards.
Meeting the family in person also allows us to ensure a smooth handover and proper guidance.
What documents are included for international export?
Every puppy is delivered with full legal documentation, including:
Microchip
EU Passport
Veterinary health certificate
Required rabies vaccinations and deworming
Official Export Pedigree (RSCE) issued in the buyer’s name
All documentation is prepared according to the destination country’s regulations.
Is the reservation process different for international clients?
No. The process is exactly the same as for Spanish clients:
Signed written contract
Reservation deposit
Remaining payment at collection
Contracts and health guarantees are provided in English for international families.
Can I speak to you in English before reserving?
Yes.
We communicate with international clients directly in English via WhatsApp or email.
We strongly encourage contacting us before reserving, so we can explain availability, timelines, regulations and logistics in detail.
